Latest Successes

OCTOBER 2011:

In October 2011, Maine Manufacturing's Wellness Team was recognized for their outstanding contribution to the overall health and well being of the organization.  Based on this work they were awarded the "Dr. Mary Jo Wakeman Award".  This award was established in memory of the late Dr. Wakeman who served as the Medical Director of the Goodall Occupational Wellness Centers.  This award is given to a business that exemplifies her passion and devotion to the promotion of work site wellness.

March 2011:

Keith Lindquist was the recent business winner of the EcoMaine Award for the town of Sanford. Keith received the award  at a ceremony in early March of 2011 for his contribution to preserving the environment in Southern Maine. Over the last year Keith and his team have increased recycling efforts at Maine Manufacturing by 100% and reduced waste at the facility by almost 50%.
