Above all else, Maine Manufacturing is based on the sole premise of customer collaboration, and we work diligently toward building long-term partnerships. As a flexible and nimble company, we remain responsive to our customers’ changing needs. We ensure efficient and cost-effective product development, process development and scale-up from low to high volume production needs.

Our process begins with an integrated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system that allows us to capture all communication and customer needs to ensure rapid response. Our system  includes a robust automated document control system. Under ISO 9001:2008 Design Control assures a consistent approach to all aspects of product development   allowing for rapid communication and assurance of verification and validation of product specifications. Upon moving toward full production quantities, we deploy our fully functional Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that controls all operating aspects of our business from planning to procurement to shop floor control.

An important component of creating long-term customer partnerships is our practice of instituting a dynamic and reactive process to monitor and continually improve performance and cost effectiveness. We routinely set up formalized Business Review Meetings in person (or remotely by phone or web video) to facilitate cross-functional decision making from high level mutual strategy to pragmatic operational execution. The objective of this process is for both parties to align resources  to:

• Review Key Performance Indicators
• Deliver one committed plan
• Respond to demand and supply variability
• Track and monitor business performance and continuous improvement
• Evaluate cost effectiveness
• Predict and anticipate risk

With a collaborative mindset in place, this  process allows both Maine Manufacturing and our customers to look forward together and define or adjust  course on a regular basis, leading to better performance, lower variability in supply and ultimately lower costs.
